I think my next hurdle/challenge should be to alway be able to draw the construction body in any pose. Dunno how long it will take, and I might vent here some more, but it will be sick.

Watch out my niggas.

Stick Skating, No head yet. Tried to make it a bit more natural by adding in the snappier motion for the second kick (jk, I lied, that was unintentional but it looks sick).

I think this is also why animatronic, construction doesn't work for me, I never can visualise the change between the rough and the clean up, so I clean up as I go... I think that's part of my previous frustrations, trying to do what everyone else does instead of figuring out my own way.

I need to learn how to take my time. I keep rushing things and expecting them to be good. However, I don't have all the time in the world. Like It took me 8 months to do 3/4s of a Dojo duel. You can go and look back on my page if you want, and while it was much higher quality than today's me, I can't use time as an excuse for shit quality.

I still dont understand how to draw with guidelines. Why not just draw the thing? (I know so that you do roughs first then clean up but my bran just cant comprehend this)

My new work ethic:
* Make something shit.
* Remove any obvious glaring bad points.
* Refine
* Repeat 2 & 3 until happy
* Clean up

That being said, I don't think I've ever completed an animation prject form start to end. Gonna try that now. Even if it takes years.

Does canvas size matter when doing fullbody? I find myself not having enough room on the default setting in Flash 8...

Aightee I reworked the backflip to make it better. But how does this help me transition on to more cool looking shit?

12 Principles of Animation:

Squash and Stretch [X]
Anticipation [X]
Staging [--] No V Cam
Straight Ahead Action and Pose to Pose [X] (SA for the flip, P2P for the wind up and landing)
Follow Through and Overlapping Action [X]
Ease In and Ease Out [X]
Arc (Little x, flip didnt feel high enough) [x]
Exaggeration (The crouches) [X]
Solid drawing [--] Stickman
Appeal [--] Practice thing, wasnt going for character

Another practice based on that 12 principles thing. A bit rushed and using trackpad but nonetheless, this couldve been better. What I need to know is how to do more dynamic angles. like I need to find a tutorials that says, "this is how you do that grid floor thing and these are some ways you can use it"

Atempt to learn full nody progress. I stil don't know where to find useful angles resources and it pisses me off. I try to ask prople and all they say is "idk I learnt it practice" BUT HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU MEANT TO PRACTICE IF YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO PRACTICE DOING. The result of my dogshit practice

That's what I mean, maybe I'm just slow/impatient but it never clicks with me. I google it and I look up definitions, try to emulate what I see but it never sticks. I just end up copying and not learning. Maybe I need to practice how to practice.

Yeah I recommend reading a book on it and practicing each concept. There is a free pdf of a book on perspective published by Dover online.
