You know what I recommend, I recommend you watch videos on youtube and search for punches, kicks, tornado kicks etc. (Martial arts movements), and watch the video many times and so you do in any animation program.

Hey! Im very new to animation and I really want to get into it. I have the option of using Adobe Macromedia Flash MX or Adobe animate. I am horrible at drawing which is why i'm working on skick figs currently. Any advice on program I should use and how I can get better. I know, "practice makes perfect". I am just really intrested in animation and I cant seem to keep my proportions of the character the same. Its small at the beginning but big at the end and i did try using the grid tool but it didnt help much. Same with the onion skin. Also, my drawingis bad in general but I do have a Wacom Intuos.

So in summary
How can i make my animations smooth?
What program should I use (Macromedia Flash MX or Adobe Animate CC)?
How can I keep my proportions of the stick figure the same through the animation?
Any tips and tricks?
