Well, I've finished my very first walk cycle....After being inactive for so long I felt the need to try something different to get me back into working on animaitions. Let me know what you think and give me some tips on how to improve this! (Cus as you can see, I desperately need them...)

lol, I am not an expert in animations but I can still give tips (if you want to listen to my tips) So to make it more realistic you should also move the body according to the hands so it doesn't look like its just moving its hands and legs in a walking cycle and instead looks like a guy actually moving (even though its still in a static position) Also maybe bob the head to to make it more realistic.

I have returned from the land of Real Life.

Sorry for being gone for a few days, life has just been busy. Getting stuff ready for a move, dealing with school, etc.

@RDSP Lel, I just wasn't feeling too good yesterday. Had a bad headache, my stomach was hurting, and to top it all of, I had to remove the dead body of a snake that My uncle cut the head off of, per instruction of my mother. (My mother is deathly terrified of snakes, and will not go outside for weeks if she sees one.)

Alrighty. This animation isn't exactly like the other ones I've been doing. I did this one to see if I can keep a (I guess shaded?) object looking like it's turning/spinning.

@Naitoshadou @Krakena99 Thanks for the suggestions. Keep in mind though that this animation was simply to see if I could get the spinning to look right. However, I will work on those other points the two of you brought up in future animations like this one. :D

Yet another Animation Practice Run. Lemme know if this one looks better than the last.

Wow, this is pretty smooth. I love how you decided to practice with the basics first. Really nice. Keep practicing, after a couple of days you'll start trying to animate stick figures and you might have it easier than most of us when we started :D

It's surprisingly easier to do than I thought...main reason why I kept hesitating. I wills say though, that animating stick figures is something else.....something I am not at yet XD

@Naitoshadou Sure!

First things first, you should use a higher FPS so it doesn't look choppy. Next, you should have your ball frames closer together near the top of the arc, and further at the bottom, to create a change in speed. This is what's known as easing. For now, these are good places to start trying to improve on.

@Naitoshadou Kinda figured those would be things I needed to do. I just kinda rushed this one to see how good I could do on my first try.
