1st explosion thing. Could use some tips with everything anyone finds wrong with it. (kind of used the "fire" to cover my shame)

I've been trying to switch to fullbody for a couple months now, but it doesn't seem to be working out. It's hard for me to want to make stick animations because I can't express myself near as much as I could with fullbody. Also because inspiration is being taken away because of the increase in stick animators. So many of the ideas I had are taken. I know that's not a valid excuse to be using since imaagination is infinite. But fullbody is a whole other thing. Takes more time, I have to learn anatomy and what not. I'm kind of stuck:/

As for me once I get anatomy down I should be able to make something decent. (I think)

keep goin, you'll get there eventually. Tbh when I started Full body I was absolutely horrible at it and I didn't see improvements in my work at all (still not seeing much to this day lmao). Also tbh i don't think being original is that important and I think its more important to just improve overall. I have yet to do something original during my entire time animating lol. But you should really just keep practicing despite how boring and tedious as it sounds. I recommend like studying basic forms and gestures. Also just breaking the human anatomy into simple shapes that are easy for you to draw will make things go 10 times faster.

@Armed_hobo Do you think trying and starting animating basic 3D shapes move in a human way would help? I mean, if I'm going to base the human body off of other shapes it would probably be helpful to understand those shapes too?

I've never done 3D animation before but tbh I think learning an entirely different program would take too long, especially if you are using it purely for learning how to understand shapes and nothing else. Again never tried it but you can definitely give it a shot if it peeks your interest. Also for the basic shapes I mean like shapes u already know how to draw well, and at a fast pace. For example I think cylinders and spheres/circles are a breeze to draw and I can just pump them out all day. Yours may be cubes or something
