I tried to draw male muscles. It took me 4 hours to that it atleast looks like a human, kind of. I greatly appreciate cnc ^^

What you have done is what most people do when drawing human bodies when they first start. They over estimate the height of certain muscle group. Pecks, shoulders and abs all need to be lowered quite a bit. If you put your arm right next to the side of your body and put the other one right under your chest where the pecks end, you'll see that your pecks end just a tiny bit higher than the middle of your upper arm. In your picture the pecks end in the shoulder height almost.

Now don't take this as if you're a bad drawer - as far as I'm concerned, all the muscles look pretty realistic even if they're just lines. And as I said, this is a common problem among beginners. Trust me, I've been teaching kids to draw while I'm studying to become arts teacher, I know.

I thank you for the great advice ! :) I surely will have that in mind when I'm drawing muscles again. I hope I can get some advice from you in my future posts too ^^
