Always nice to see more people try story. Main thing I want to point out is the viewing angle of the logs, books and character all seem to be different. Try to do them all from the same angle.

I love the idea of good animated stories, but my cnc for you man is to make the fire a little more realistic. Add a bit of light yellow and darker reds, and the camera angle seems to be a little off, so I'd keep practicing on that. Otherwise, keep up the good progress.

i feel the fire is fine, but the pose and the books are very flat for the scene it looks like we're looking at a page of a book instead of a camera angle looking down at someone. the books are angled differently in comparison to the open book if i put my hand over it the scene looks instantly better.

Here's my take on it

Along with some minor touch ups the main thing i changed is i took an orange radial gradient over the fire and put the blend to "hard light"

@Septagon I can see what you did, but then I would have to change the Bevels of the rocks because it looks awkward otherwise x)
Also I don't want it to bee too flashy, it gets hard to understand what's happening, anyways i'll take note of this, and I'll probably use it later ^-^
